S. e l'hò riceuuta con molto mio piacere per la particolar considerazione, in che tengo la Jl merito della bontà e della Virtù di lei, come il D[otto]r. Michel de Molinos med[em]o hà ben potuto testificarle; onde deue V. La lettre de Votre Sérénité m'a été présentée par don Miguel Molinos, et je l'ai reçue avec grand plaisir pour la considération particulière dans laquelle je tiens le mérite de votre bonté et de votre vertu, comme celle-ci a bien pu en témoigner. Votre Sérénité doit donc être persuadée de ma volonté de coopérer autant que je le pourrai au succès de la cause pour laquelle j'ai envoyé le canonique Lassarte à cette cour, et, vous remerciant des expressions cordiales que vous m'avez adressées, je vous recommande vivement de ses saints sacrifices, et je vous prie tous la vraie prospérité de la part de Dieu.

Il faut aussi se recommander aux saints sacrifices de ce saint homme, bien que je croie peu aux saints qui mangent, mais néanmoins le sacrifice fait toujours son effet.

Ers Durchlauchtighets brev har framställts för mig av don Miguel Molinos, och jag har mottagit det med stort nöje för den särskilda hänsyn i vilken jag håller förtjänsten av Er godhet och dygd som densamme väl kunnat vittna om dem. Ers Durchlauchtighet måste därför vara övertygad om min villiga vilja att samarbeta så mycket jag kan för framgången för den sak för vilken jag har sänt kaniken Lassarte till detta hov, och tackar Er för Era hjärtliga uttryck till mig, rekommenderar jag Er varmt hans heliga offer, och jag ber för Er allt sant välstånd från Gud.

Det är också nödvändigt att rekommendera sig själv till denne helige mans heliga offer, även om jag föga tror på de heliga som äter, men inte desto mindre har offret alltid sin verkan.

Your Serenity must therefore be persuaded of my ready willingness to cooperate as much as I can in the success of the cause for which I have sent Canon Lassarte to this court, and, thanking you for your cordial expressions to me, I warmly recommend you to his holy sacrifices, and I pray for you all true prosperity from God.

It is also necessary to recommend oneself to the holy sacrifices of this holy man, although I little believe in the saints who eat, but nevertheless the sacrifice always has its effect.
