Jo non hò risposto prima alla lett[er]a di V. S. de 20. di Gen[naro] Sì p[er] molti miei impedimenti Si per essermi confusa di quanto ella mi Scrive in ordine all'interesse del nostro Dottor Molinos, mentre mi ringrazia tanto abondantemente della protezione, colla quale gl'hò assistito; mà Sappia V. S. che come non può mancargli quella di Dio, ch'è l'istessa verità, e giustizia, e di cui è la causa; così il nostro Molinos non potrà esser oppresso dagl'Auuersarij per quante persecutioni, mai gli machineranno. Mi confesso però tenuta à V. Ma sappia Vostra Signoria che come non può mancargli quella di Dio, ch'è l'istessa verità e giustizia e di cui è la causa; così il nostro Molinos non potrà esser oppresso dagl'avversari, per quante persecuzioni mai gli macchineranno.

Je n'ai pas répondu d'abord à la lettre de Votre Seigneurie du 20 janvier, tant pour avoir confondu ce qu'elle m'écrit sur l'intérêt de notre docteur Molinos, alors qu'elle me remercie si abondamment de la protection dont je l'ai assistée. Mais Votre Seigneurie peut savoir que Dieu ne pouvant faire défaut, qui est la même vérité et justice et dont il est la cause, notre Molinos ne pourra donc pas être opprimé par les adversaires pour tant de persécutions, ils ne le machineront jamais. J'avoue cependant que je suis liée à Votre Seigneurie des sentiments affectueux qu'elle me témoigne à cette occasion, et je la prie d'être persuadée que je ne cesserai de veiller de plus en plus à la protection de Molinos lui-même, dont Votre Seigneurie saura tout ce qui se passe, et en me recommandant à ses saints sacrifices, je prie Dieu qu'il la garde et prospère, etc.

But Your Lordship may know that as God cannot be lacking, which is the same truth and justice and of which it is the cause, our Molinos will thus not be able to be oppressed by the adversaries for so many persecutions, they will never machinate against him. I confess, however, that I am bound to Your Lordship of the affectionate sentiments that you show me on this occasion, and I beg you to be persuaded that I will not stop taking care more and more of the protection of Molinos himself, from whom Your Lordship will know everything that passes, and in recommending myself to your holy sacrifices, I pray to God that He will keep and bless you, etc.

Mais que Votre Seigneurie sache que, de même qu'il ne peut manquer de la protection de Dieu, qui est vérité et justice même et dont il est la cause, de même notre Molinos ne peut être opprimé par ses adversaires, quelles que soient les persécutions qu'ils machinent contre lui.
