Högtärade käre farkär.
... Rätt som jag hade lyktat farkärs bref, kom Totten och tog mig med sig till att följa dronningen i Juregården, hvilket vi ock gjorde. Och var där helt lustigt med lutespel och annat, och rätt nu går posten sin kos.

French translation (my own):
Stockholm, le 15 juillet 1649.
Mon très honoré, cher père,
... Juste au moment où j'avais fini la lettre pour mon cher père, Tott vint et m'emmena avec lui pour accompagner la reine à Djurgården, ce que nous fîmes aussi. Et c'était tellement amusant, avec jouir du luth et d'autres choses, et en ce moment le courrier part.
English translation (my own):
Stockholm, July 15, 1649.
Highly honoured dear Father,
... Just as I had finished dear Father's letter, Tott came and took me with him to accompany the Queen to Djurgården, which we also did. And it was so much fun, with lute playing and other things, and right now the mail is leaving.

Notes: I don't know if this book was recently digitised or if I was only not looking hard enough, but I was so happy to finally find a digitisation (found September 23, 2022!)
Excerpts from Johan's letters to his father can be found in volumes 10 and 12 of Nya handlingar rörande Skandinaviens historia (published in 1835 and 1837 respectively), while his letters to his brother Claes (relevant excerpts of which I have posted here previously) were originally published by the late Sture Allén in 1965.
