Je ne puis répondre à vos lettres qu'en approuvant toutes vos pensées, je suis dans l'impatience de vous voir & vous attens comme les Juifs attendent leur Messie. J'ai cent choses à vous dire qui ne se peuvent écrire, & j'espére que vous serez aussi satisfait de moi que je la suis de vous, cependant ma convalescence tend heureusement à sa fin quoiqu'avec un peu de longueur, à cause de l'inclémence de la saison, mais à votre arrivée j'espére que vous me trouverez en parfaite santé. Adieu.

Jag kan bara svara på Era brev genom att godkänna alla Era tankar, jag är otålig att se Er och jag väntar på Er som judarna väntar på sin Messias. Jag har hundra saker att säga Er som inte går att skriva ner, och jag hoppas att Ni blir lika nöjd med mig som jag med Er. Emellertid håller mitt tillfrisknande lyckligtvis på att nå sitt slut, om än med lite längd, på grund av årstidens bisterhet; men när Ni ankommer hoppas jag att Ni finner mig vid perfekt hälsa. Farväl.

I can only respond to your letters by approving all your thoughts, I am impatient to see you and I wait for you like the Jews await their Messiah. I have a hundred things to say to you which cannot be written down, and I hope that you will be as satisfied with me as I am with you. In the meantime, my convalescence is luckily drawing to its end, although with a little length, because of the inclemency of the season; but when you arrive I hope you will find me in perfect health.
