Iunij 4. amplissima ex Muscovia Legatio Holmiam advenit. Erant Legati cum Comitatu, Personæ circiter -50, accepti sunt honorificentissimi. non solum n. à Regni Procetibus, sed ab universa etiam Civitate et integra militari Legione obviam illis processum est.
Augusti 6. Nycopiam ad Reginam et Regis funus videndum abiverunt. Abeuntibus non minor quam advenientibus honor est præbitus. nec n. Solum grandiores Machinæ varijs locis in vrbe dispositæ, verum etiam ex totâ nobilitate civibusqz. militariter armatis ad portum Kornhampn magnifice deducebantur, ubi navibus excepti vehebantur Telgas et inde Nycopiam. Eorum negotium fuisse ferebatur 1. Sui Principis et populi nomine ingentem dolorem ex Regis Amici et Confœderati Obitu testari. 2. Regis funus coram intueri ac famæ veritatem, Comperire. 3. Fœdus cum Suecis mitum potissimum adversus Communem hostem Polonum renovare.

Le 4 juin, une importante délégation de Moscovie arriva à Stockholm. Il y avait des ambassadeurs avec la compagnie, environ 50 personnes, et ils furent reçus très honorablement, non seulement par les cortèges du royaume, mais aussi de toute la ville et de toute une légion militaire, il y avait un cortège pour les rencontrer.
Le 6 août, ils se rendirent à Nyköping pour voir la reine et les funérailles du roi. Pas moins d'honneur n'était accordé à ceux qui partaient qu'à ceux qui arrivaient, et non seulement les plus grosses machines disposées en divers endroits de la ville, mais aussi par toute la noblesse et les citoyens armés militairement, elles furent magnifiquement amenées au port de Kornhamn, où ils ont été emmenés par des navires et ont navigué vers Tälje et de là vers Nyköping. Den 4 juni anlände en stor delegation från Moskoviet till Stockholm. Det fanns ambassadörer med kompaniet, ett 50-tal personer, och de mottogs högst hederligt, inte bara av rikets processioner, utan också från hela staden och en hel militärlegion, det var en procession för att möta dem.
Den 6 augusti åkte de till Nyköping för att se drottningen, och konungens likbegängelse också. Ej mindre ära tillerkändes dem som avreste än de anlända, och icke blott de på olika ställen i staden anordnade större maskinerna, utan äfven af hela adeln och militärt beväpnade borgare, fördes de praktfullt till hamnen i Kornhamn, där de fördes med fartyg och seglade till Tälje och därifrån till Nyköping. Det rapporterades, att deras angelägenhet var: 1. att i deras furstes och folkets namn vittna om den ofantliga sorg, som orsakats av konungens, hans väns och förbundsmedlems död; 2. att bevittna konungens likbegängelse och försäkra sig om sanningen i rapporten; 3. att förnya alliansen med svenskarna, särskilt mot polackerna, deras gemensamma fiende.
English translation (my own):
On June 4th a large delegation from Muscovy arrived at Stockholm. There were ambassadors with the company, about 50 persons, and they were received most honourably, not only by the processions of the realm, but also from the whole city and a whole military legion, there was a procession to meet them.
On August 6th they went to Nyköping to see the Queen and the funeral of the King. No less honour was accorded to those who departed than to those who arrived, and not only the larger machines arranged in various places in the town, but also by all the nobility and citizens armed militarily, they were brought magnificently to the port of Kornhamn, where they were taken by ships and sailed to Tälje and from thence to Nyköping. It was reported that their business was: 1. to testify, in the name of their Prince and of the people, the immense sorrow caused by the death of the King, his friend and confederate; 2. to witness the King's funeral, and to ascertain the truth of the report; 3. to renew the alliance with the Swedes, especially against the common enemy of the Poles.
