The postscript (with Kristina's handwriting in italics):

1677. 23 Gen[naro].

With modernised spelling:

1677, 23 gennaro. —
Dio faccia ch'io m'inganni! —

Arckenholtz's transcript of the postscript (in his French translation from Italian):

English translation (my own):

The battle could totally change things, but I don't expect much good for Sweden, and I don't think its disgraces will end there. God grant that I am wrong.

French translation of the original (my own):

1677, le 23 janvier. —

Swedish translation of the original (my own):

1677, den 23 januari. —

English translation of the original (my own):

1677, January 23. —
The blow of the battle could change things from white to black, but I hope little good for Sweden, and I do not believe that its disgraces will end here. God grant that I am deceiving myself! —

Above: Kristina.
