The diary entry:

Ryska sändebud voro då i Sverige och condolerade Högsal. Konungens död. De hade audience i Konung Johans mak. Drottningen var mycket ung; höll dock väl sitt majestät och förfärades intet för de grymma Ryssar.

English translation (my own):

Russian envoys were then in Sweden and condoled on the late King's death. They had an audience in King Johan's chamber. The Queen was very young, but she kept her majesty well and was not frightened by the grim Russians.
