Important announcement! (In effect from September 2023 to ?)

You will notice that this blog has quite a lot of posts tagged as "Document depicted". What I do is that I usually download the appertaining images on the computer and put them into the posts concerning each document, but because of current circumstances concerning my living situation and moving house(s), I don't know when will be the next time I'll have access to a computer to be able to show those images. But I hope to be able to resume my usual procedure as soon as it is possible again, and in the meantime I will continue to upload "Document depicted" posts so as to keep up the usual flow and so they will be here once I can provide the images again, alongside for those posts that are currently document-less or which have originals or (further) copies out there until further digitisation occurs (mainly in Sweden) concerning whatever given documents that don't have them here yet if they are available to me (originals and copies), as well as the posts with information and material sourced from almost 400 years of printed media. Thank you for your understanding.

I am not a professional by any means, but I love this "job"; and, although I have become more critical of the subject of this blog, both as a person and as a ruler (and in some areas this is necessarily an understatement, as anyone who knows enough about her will understand), it has been and always will be an amazing journey getting to "know" Kristina and documenting her life and the big and small things in it, and for better or for worse, she will never stop being fascinating to me and to the world.
